Aesthetic Communication (1). Between San Remo and the Coen brothers -

I would like to sketch a little reflection from some of my experiences of the viewer. After all someone has already said, we live in a society of spectacle and simulation of which we celebrate the glories and harmful involvement with particular unconscious. The point concerns the Sanremo festival and the film of brothers Joel and Ethan Coen "No Country for Old Men," which I saw at the cinema a nice Saturday evening in good company. You Clearly, the combinations are random, abstract way of example, a larger flow that accompanies us daily and continuously. fact I will not talk about the festival of San Remo by TV critic, I have not followed.

As millions of Italians, I happened to see sights, hear some piece of endless talk shows, also won the boredom especially prime time television. Nor do I want to here a criticism of the film, which I recommend, however, not to be missed especially for those who love the unique cinema (including the learned and popular, the quotations and love for the cinema "classic" Hollywood, humor and sarcasm, the comic and tragic), the Coen brothers.

I would try, if possible, in contrast to the absolute pervasiveness of the communication plan of the aesthetic. Prior experience

The Coen brothers' film "No Country for Old Men" is based on the novel by Cormac McCarthy. Trying to reflection.

The festival San Remo is a great machine spectacular - to communicate. It was, and to some extent still is, the moment of self-representation of a nation, better than a company, which is reflected in the sparkle in his carefree ways and lifestyles more dominant. But like any form of communication is self-contradictory, confused, omnivorous, autoriproduttiva, a-symbolic, devoid of content, indifferent, interested in the economic machine that holds, falsely democratic approval instead of differences.

Not that the films of the Coen is also surrounded by channels of communication and subject, as it were, the spotlight communication, but there is something missing, which is in shadow (say Perniola), which nevertheless accounts, opening up new opportunities, call content, let us not fall back on ourselves. Of course one goes to the movies for fun, but if you search for the Coen then it is not only what you want and you can get. That's important.

They are two different experiences of being in the world.
