What we do in Loreto Aprutino? A notice of collection of amateur movies and family!
The initiative was made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Cultural Association of Loreto and its president, Fausto Roncone, active for over thirty years in the territory of Loreto in the promotion of cultural and sensitive to issues of preservation and enhancement of local historical memory.
Friday, April 9, was held at the town of Loreto, the IMAX presentation of our partnership: as a frame an evening dedicated to the memory of two local cineamatori, Carmine and John Giovanetti Blasetti. In a crowded cinema looks surprised and curious, we relived, through the evocative footage of the two cinemas, a piece of the history of Loreto Aprutino: old professions have disappeared, but even a walk in the center of the country on the day of the market, some films have reconstructed memories locked in a drawer for years.
Now comes the fun part: In the coming months we will begin to transfer movies and amateur family that the families of Loreto will share with us to help give back to the community of Loreto other pieces of its history and its memory.
